Ball River one the offshoots of the river shibsa
in khulna
district, it flows southwest through the sundarbans
and meets the arpangachhia.
The joint flow of both the rivers debouches into the bay
of bengal as the Malancha. True to the meaning of its name
('ball' means strength) the river is deep and violent.
